Clearing a breakout and clearing what it leaves behind are two different jobs. This lotion is built for the second one.
It contains retinol — a vitamin A derivative and one of the few widely-studied ingredients for skin renewal and post-blemish marks — alongside Centella asiatica, papain and tea tree leaf oil. Centella is a long-standing calming ingredient in Asian skincare; papain is a fruit enzyme that helps lift dull surface cells. The formula is deliberately light, because the skin that needs it is usually oily or combination and will not tolerate a heavy cream.
The pack describes it as balancing lipid secretion and the pH of the skin, strengthening the barrier, and lightening acne marks. In practice, it is a night-time step for the weeks after a flare-up has settled.
**Because it contains retinol, use it at night and wear sunscreen the following day.** Retinol makes skin more sensitive to sun, and Pakistani daylight is unforgiving. - Retinol makes skin more sensitive to sunlight, and it degrades in daylight. Using it at night gets you the benefit without the sun sensitivity working against you.
- How long before I see a difference?
- Skin renewal takes time. Give it consistent nightly use across four to six weeks, and pair it with daily sunscreen — without sun protection, marks keep re-darkening.
- Can I use it on active spots?
- It is intended for after a flare-up has settled. For active blemishes, use the Tea Tree Acne Gel.
