TJs Decolorant Lightening Bleach Powder lightens facial and body hair so it stops reading as dark against the skin — the standard alternative to threading or waxing for fine upper-lip and cheek hair. Its micro-granular structure is the technical point worth knowing: finer granules mean less powder becomes airborne during mixing, which lowers both the inhalation risk and the chance of irritation.
**It does not work on its own.** Bleach powder is only half a system. You mix it in equal parts with **TJs Activator Cream** — the hydrogen peroxide developer sold alongside it — until you have a smooth emulsion. Without the activator, nothing happens. We sell them as a pair for that reason.
Once mixed, apply within the hour and leave for roughly fifteen minutes, adjusting for your skin and the weather. Always patch test first on sensitive skin, and always wear gloves.

Questions
- Can I use this without the Activator Cream?
- No. Bleach powder is inert on its own — the activator is the hydrogen peroxide developer that makes the reaction happen. You need both, mixed in equal parts.
- Why a non-metallic container?
- Metal reacts with the peroxide in the activator and can spoil the mix or cause an uncontrolled reaction. Use plastic, glass or ceramic.
- How long can I keep the mixture?
- Apply within one hour of mixing. After that it loses effectiveness. Only mix what you need.
